Desktop Support Administrator I

SUMMARY

The Desktop Support Administrator I is responsible for adjusting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the overall efficient operation of Crosslink IT systems. This position also attends to the desktops and provide technical support for employees.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. 1 year of desktop support experience or equivalent internship/work experience.
  2. Proven experience with desktop hardware installation and maintenance, Microsoft Office applications, and working in a mixed (Windows) operating system environment
  3. Basic network troubleshooting skills
  4. Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows 8 and Windows 10
  5. Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
  7. Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  8. Ability to work well in a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs., sit for a long time, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and type
  2. Must be able to operate a computer and a mouse, write, and file documents
  3. Position is in a regular office environment and requires extensive usage of a computer
